+HP

What it is

A hull-plating mod that grants flat additional maximum hit points to the ship it is installed on. It is one of nine templates in the global mod catalog and uses the standard rarity-merge progression: drops always enter inventory at Tier 1 (Common), and three of any tier merge into one of the next tier up.

Per-tier values (T1–T5)

Rarity multiplies the base stat block. Multipliers are global to the mod system; per-tier values for this template are listed below.

TierRarityMultiplierMax HP bonus
T1Common+20
T2Uncommon+40
T3Rare+80
T4Epic+160
T5Legendary16×+320

To reach a single T5 copy requires 81 T1 drops of this template (3 → 1 at each step, four merges deep).

Shape and footprint

FieldValue
Bounding box2 wide × 1 tall
Filled cells2 (fully filled rectangle)
RotatableYes — 0°, 90°, 180°, 270° (1×2 when rotated 90° / 270°)

The footprint is a solid 2×1 bar with no empty cells, so it tiles cleanly along any free edge of the mod grid.

How it fits

  • Lives in the account-wide global Mod Grid, not on a per-ship backpack — the same installed mod benefits whichever ship is taken into a run.
  • Stacks additively with HP bonuses from other sources (ship base, other +HP mods, passives). There is no diminishing return on stacking flat HP.
  • Pairs well with mods that scale off survival time (shield regen, damage reduction) since the extra HP buys time for those effects to pay off.
  • Effective on every ship — there is no ship for which more HP is wasted — but the relative value is higher on low-base-HP ships where +20 represents a larger percentage gain.
